I just donated $25 to feedingamerica.org. I know it may not be much money to many people, but it's what I saved up this month to help other people out. I read the stories on that website and saw that even little donations can accumulate and help people. I'm hoping to save up $50 next month.

I know a REALLY broke guy. He sometimes can't even afford to buy food. Whenever I hang out with him, we almost never do things that cost money. Today, I saw him donate a couple of dollars to a charity fund at my school. Even though that may not seem like much to people, I know that it was a lot of money for him. It's heartwarming to see something like that.

I was out in 7/11 just buying a couple of hotdogs to eat in my car before heading out to my friend’s place, when this lady approached me with a bag. I thought she was trying to sell me something so I was ready to decline, but she didn’t try to sell me anything. She actually wanted to offer me a few sealed canned food that was left over from her church ministry trip to the homeless shelter. I took her offer and later donated the them to a local food drive.
